Vermont has a strong farm-to-table program, and the summer bounty is plentiful; stop by the Middlebury Farmers’ Market and see for yourself. Enjoy our warm days and cool nights; if it’s hot we’ll give you directions to some of the best local swimming holes! We’ve partnered with some local attractions to make your stay easier for you!

Fly Fishing in Vermont
April 12 to October 31
Enjoy two nights at the Swift House and a day of fly fishing for two. In the summertime, the trout are hungry, the hatches numerous, and local Middlebury rivers and streams are teaming with rainbow and brown trout. Summer provides the opportunity for mountain stream brook trout fishing. For your trip, a local guide from Stream and Brook accompanies you and provides local knowledge and everything from useful tips to teaching you how to fly fish. Everyone, from those who have never fished to the most experienced angler, enjoy this package.
This package includes two nights of lodging, one dinner for two, and a day of guided fly fishing with lunch. Rates are for two people fishing; if only one is fishing the second person can opt to enjoy a massage, manicure, and pedicure at a local spa. Package ranges from $990 to $1160, depending on time of year and selections of Main House or Carriage House room. (Package is subject to availability of guide and spa; taxes and gratuities for guide and masseuse are not included).
The Summer Getaway
June 1 – August 31
There is so much to see and do in Vermont throughout the summer. Middlebury is the perfect place to call home for a week of exploring attractions around the state. For those staying three or more consecutive nights, our summer rate is reduced by 18% for your entire length of stay.
