If you have yet to visit Vermont during this gorgeous season, you need to come on over—we’ve got open rooms in our quaint and charming bed and breakfast and not only are we close to all kinds of outdoor activities and fun things to do, we are surrounded by some truly breathtaking natural beauty. We also have some great family-friendly events that come around every year such as the Middlebury Spooktacular—a favorite during the Halloween season.

Fun, exciting, enjoyable, entertaining, amusing, spooky, and family-friendly are all words we could use to describe the annual Middlebury Spooktacular that happens every year here in Middlebury, VT. It is one of those community-wide events that everyone looks forward to and for which guests come to visit. It always takes place the Sunday before Halloween so this year it will be on October 30th, 2016 at the Town Green downtown. It is a super fun Halloween bash that is safe and appropriate for families with kids of all ages. It’s also fun for adults too! The fun will start off at 1:00pm with a myriad of activities that include live music, face painting, games, and prizes. At 2:30 the main event, the Trick-or-Treat sidewalk parade begins where merchants will be passing out treats and candy. It is a rain or shine event so come on out!

We love the fall season for the colors, pumpkin patches, hayrides, apple picking, apple cider, donuts, and the hearty, home-cooked dishes that appear on the menu at Jessica’s, our in-house restaurant. We’ve got some fantastic fall packages as well so if you are looking for a reason to sneak away this fall—come for a memorable visit to Vermont! Book online today or contact us for more information.
