2016 Vermont Mountain Bike Festival

This summer we will be sharing several great places to enjoy biking right here around our inn in Middlebury, VT and nearby—owner Dan Brown is an avid cyclist and we have many guests who are often itching to get out and enjoy the gorgeous Vermont scenery around here. In addition to some amazing local trails and loops, there is also a great event coming up we thought you might enjoy—the Vermont Mountain Bike Festival.

The Vermont Mountain Bike Festival is well attended every year, with over 400 riders expected to arrive for the festivities this year. Taking place July 22-24, 2016 in Waitsfield, which is around an hour away from us, the festival will be a weekend full of fun activities and lots of riding the whole family can enjoy.

There will be an Info Wall next to registration where you can get find all the important details about the weekend when you get there but we’ll give you a sneak peek here so you know what to expect! Festival participants will be able to enjoy rides, food, campfires, live music, over 40 vendors, games, clinics, raffles, and demos. The long-standing and popular Mountain Bike Olympics will also take place Saturday night so you won’t want to miss that.

The morning and afternoon rides are for all ability levels and the family rides are of course for anyone who wants to participate. When you want to take a break you can grab some food, peruse the vendors, or check out the Family Adventure Zone at Lincoln Peak. When you have had your fill you can mosey back to our inn and relax the night away in your own private suite—doesn’t get much better than that! Contact us if you would like more information about booking a suite or things to do in and around Middlebury this summer!
