“Stomp” Showcasing at Paramount Theatre, VT

If you are one who loves a theatrical show that will get your heart beating, your toes tapping and give you a spring in your step when you leave at the end, we have the perfect show for you! Stomp, a percussion group that originated in the UK and has been performing all over the world since 1991, is coming to the Paramount Theatre in Rutland, VT, April 14-15, 2016. If you have never had the chance to see this group on stage, we really encourage you to go and see what their noise is all about.

Stomp is truly a one-of-a-kind musical group that brings a performance like none other. They are a percussion group that uses the body and ordinary objects you’d find around your house to create a stunning, creative, and melodic performance. They create energizing beats and electrifying rhythms that captivate audiences of all ages and they do it all using run of the mill things such as wooden poles, garbage cans, Zippo lighters, brooms, matchboxes, hubcaps, paper bags, newspaper, and of course their own bodies. They clap, snap, slap, stomp, tap dance, and more. The members of the group work together in such creative ways to produce “songs” and rhythms that are just so entertaining. They make you want to go home and try the same thing! Tickets are $44.50-$54.50 and you can buy them here.
