Cystic Fibrosis Stampede in Bristol, VT

Cystic Fibrosis is a very serious life threatening disorder
that causes severe damage to the digestive system and lungs and is one among
many that does not have a cure. Certain treatments and improved screening
techniques can now help ease symptoms and allow a person to live an improved
quality of life compared to the past but we still have a long way to go. It is
for this reason that the Three
Day Stampede
in Bristol, VT exists.

The Three Day Stampede is an annual event with a goal every
year to raise funds to help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. This incredible
event has been going strong since 1989 and has been able to send over $1,400,000
to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for research and programs. You can read more
about this great foundation here. Will you
come out this year and help? It will be taking place July 24-26, 2015 at the
Bristol Rec Field.
The main attraction over the weekend is the massive lawn
sale with 20 tents full of every kind of treat and treasure you can imagine! In
addition there will be a used book sale, craft and flea market, delicious bake
sale, motorcycle ride, silent auction, chicken barbecue, Stampede 5K,
Walk-a-thon, and WOKO live onsite. It’s great fun and you will be
making an important contribution to the efforts in finding a cure for this disorder.
Every person and every penny counts!
