This is the 16th year for this great community festival and every time it comes around again, it is a chance for old and new friends to come together to celebrate everything that makes fall such a fantastic season. Organized by the Addison County Chamber of Commerce and the Bristol Recreation Department, the Harvest Festival in Bristol, VT will be a great way to spend a day outside.
Taking place on September 20th, 2014, the festival will bring over 70 vendors, pony rides, a 5K road race, face painting, handcrafters, demonstrations and downtown sidewalk sales. Get a start on your Christmas shopping! If you are one that likes to “one up” your neighbor or you have a recipe you think deserves the ultimate recognition, the contests will be right up your alley. There will be competitions for pie eating, best apple pie, best chicken wing and biggest zucchini! A consistent schedule of live music will provide a fun background for everyone and will showcase artists such as LC Jazz, Deb Brisson and The Hay Burners, Patrick Fitzsimmons, and Simply Acoustic.
