A winter vacation in Vermont is white and brrrrrrr. That’s why we have fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, a sauna, and steam room. Do you need more to entice you to come to the Swift House? How about skiing, snowshoeing, or just watching the snow fall? Nights are never more beautiful than when there is a new layer of snow, a big moon, and crisp air.

Our dinner service is at its best, and the Wine Bar in front of the fireplace is the place to enjoy a glass a wine from our Wine Spectator list. Middlebury College’s performing arts series offers an event almost every weekend along with college sports. Come and enjoy a winter weekend or weekday here at the Swift House Inn.

The Romantic Escape

Relax and forget about the rest of the world with a candlelight dinner for two, a night in our Carriage House, a bottle of champagne with dinner, and breakfast the next day for $320 per couple. (Does not apply during Middlebury College special weekends, Presidents' Weekend and holiday periods; dinner gratuity is included but taxes and other gratuities are not included)

Winter Warm-up

November 1 - February 28

Enjoy two nights of lodging in one of our large Carriage House rooms, featuring a King bed, fireplace, and whirlpool tub. Enjoy a scrumptious dinner one night in Jessica's restaurant. And take home two Swift House Inn mugs! $550.00 per couple, which includes dinner gratuity but does not include tax. Other gratuities are at your discretion. The winter holidays can be extra special in Middlebury as the entire community comes together to celebrate the joys and gifts of the year. Please join us during this special season as we are offering a discount on our rooms for your length of stay. New Year’s in Vermont

Ring in the New Year at the Swift House Inn! Join us for a sumptuous 4-course dinner and spend the night in one of our comfortable guest rooms. Prices for dinner for two and an overnight stay are $245 for a Main House room, $225 for a Gate House room, and $325 for a Carriage House room. Taxes, gratuities, and drinks are additional. Additional room nights may be purchased at these special room rates.
