Middlebury VT Dining at Swift House Inn
Aside from our unique and luxurious guestrooms, Jessica’s Restaurant provides another memorable part of any stay here at the Swift House Inn. Jessica’s offers casual dining with a seasonally changing menu in a historic setting.
Chef Rob’s personally created menu showcases local products like vegetables from Elmer Farm here in Middlebury, blue cheese from Boucher Family Farm from Highgate, Misty Knoll chicken from New Haven, and many more. Whether you are looking for a romantic dinner for two or a celebration dinner for 12 or more, Jessica’s staff is here to make certain any dining experience is wonderful. Sit on the leather sofa in front of the fireplace and enjoy a drink in the bar, or dine in one of the three dining rooms or on the deck in the summer.
Tom, our bartender and sommelier, has years of experience making cocktails like a “Dark and Stormy,” “A Side Car,” or a classic martini. Interested in wines? Jessica’s wine list has been recognized by the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, winning this award for 10 years and is the only restaurant in the area with the award. The list is filled with economically priced wines and several hard-to-find wines. Tom is happy to help steer diners toward a wine that best pairs with their menu choices.
Looking for Beer? Vermont has more small craft breweries per capita than any other state, so we always have beers from three local breweries on tap as well as some by the bottle. We typically offer favorites like Switchback from Burlington and Woodchuck Hard Cider from here in Middlebury.
