Today the Swift House Inn is a beautifully-appointed gathering place, ideal for family dinners, reunions, holidays, weddings, and executive retreats. A gourmet meal at our restaurant is always memorable. You will be shown to your candlelit table with its fine linen and elegant settings. The delectable menu showcases traditional American  favorites.  Much is supplied by local growers to ensure absolute freshness. As a proud member of the Vermont Fresh Network, our award-winning culinary team is unrivaled in central Vermont. But it's not just the food, it's the alchemy of intimate ambiance, doting staff, splendid surroundings, and an extensive wine cellar, recognized by the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, that make The Swift House Inn a magical experience. The feel is casual, the food is exceptional!  After dinner, nod next to the hearth, peruse the volumes in our library, or sit on the window-lined porch watching village lights twinkle like stars in the distance. Dinner is served Thursday-Sunday 5:30-9:00 PM. From July 23 through October we will serve dinner five nights a week on Wednesday through Sunday evenings. We will accommodate special parties any night.

A hearty breakfast, which is included in the room rate, is always a treat at the Inn. There are always several savory or sweet entrees that are prepared to your order. These are complimented by a cold buffet of fresh fruits, baked items, yogurts, cereals and the Inn's own granola.
