Come enjoy a romantic Valentines Day dinner at the Swift House.  Chef Zach has created a special menu to be served on Saturday and Sunday February 13 and 14.  Call for reservations. Our Wine Spectator Award wine list has many options to accompany the dinner selections.

Green Hotel Designation 4/15/2009
The Swift House has received the Vermont Green Hotel designation.  This is in recognition of our "Green Practices" and commitment to a better environment. We have a passionate recycling program, have reduced energy consumption with the installation of 3 new high-efficiency boilers and almost 100% CFL lighting.  We are also trying to use paper products that have high percentages of post consumer products and cleaning products that have minimal or no impact on the environment.  We have more to do, but we're excited about what we have done so far!

Wine Spectator Award-2009  6/15/2009
The Swift House is proud to announce that we have been chosen for the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, our fourth year in a row! We've put together an extensive and reasonable wine list. Tom, our Dining Room Manager and Bartender, can help you choose the right wine for your dinner.

Whether you are looking for a casual Thursday evening light dinner or celebrating a special occasion, the Inn’s dining rooms are a great place to enjoy your meal . The dress and atmosphere are casual, but the food and service will be special.  Serving dinner Wednesday  through Sunday from 5:30 to 9:00.

Complimentary Breakfast, Still!!!   
The Swift House is the only Middlebury Inn or Hotel still serving a complimentary breakfast.  Everyone else now charges!  Included are fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, Inn-made granola, breads, choices of juice and selections of hot entrees. 

AARP and AAA Rates Offered 6/20/2005
The Swift House Inn now offers AARP and AAA members a 10% discount on their room rates. With a Preferred Guest card, the discount increases to 15%. The discount does not apply to the seasonal packages offered, and there are no discounts during foliage season and some Middlebury College weekends.
